When I relaunched my web design services a couple of years ago, my idea was to provide help to small businesses and individuals who needed a website but couldn’t afford to pay the huge fees that many big design companies were charging. This week I have a launched a website that epitomises just that.
Francesca is a young lady with a great talent. She collects discarded oyster and scallop shells, cleans them up and then hand paints or decoupages them. This turns them into beautiful ornaments and trinket trays. She needed a website through which she could sell directly to customers online without incurring huge fees or having a big company like Amazon taking a big slice of the money she makes.
A WordPress and Elementor site using Woocommerce to build the shop side has got her online for just a small startup cost. My SEO knowledge has also ensured that she is already starting to appear in Google searches.
Take a look at her great new website here, and maybe you will find something you can buy for a friend of loved on while you are there:

The castle was lit up green last year to celebrate the event, but as Ljubljana is the European Green Capital for 2016 the castle is already being lit green at night for the whole year. So the Irish embassy arranged for the colours of the flag to adorn the castle for 2016.](https://ianmiddleton.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/F2A7971.jpg)

A Magic Road in the Comeragh Mountains
If I told you there was a section of road in Ireland where, if you park at the bottom of a small hill and release the brake, you will roll back up the hill, would you believe me? Well, when I first heard of such a thing I didn’t believe it either. This one was up north of Dundalk, and upon further investigation I found it to be true. So when I heard there was one down south, I just had to see it.

Brexit – Maybe the Solution lies in the Problem
The UK has never been as divided as it is today over Brexit, or has it? But maybe, just maybe, the solution to the Brexit crisis lies in the very thing that is causing us problems.
