What is different about my website design service?
Many web design companies may build you a website cheaply, but the catch is that they also host your website and lock you into a monthly maintenance fee. You are also obliged to return to them for any extra work. Additionally, should you ever become unhappy with their service and want to go elsewhere, you’ll likely have to get someone to build you a whole new website.
With any website I build, you get the option to either self-manage, or let me manage it for you. The choice is yours.

I specialise in responsive web design services and build websites for individuals and small businesses using WordPress and Elementor. These platforms are one of the easiest and most flexible to use.
Once your site is ready, you can simply login to the dashboard and manage it yourself, make changes to text and prices and also write regular blogs.

These days a website is no longer just viewed on a PC or laptop, many are now using tablets and smartphones. Your website needs to be responsive to these different devices.
Also, Google will downgrade your website if it is not mobile friendly. A WordPress website is fully adaptable and responsive to the device it is being viewed upon.

Self-managed wordpress websites
My self-managed website design service gives you full control to manage your own website. If required, I will set you up with your own hosting package, build the website and show you how to update, if you want. For updates, maintenance you can either come to me or go elsewhere. You will only be charged for the work I actually do. Additionally, should you become unhappy with me, or I get run over by a bus, you can still go to another designer and will keep the website that you have already paid for.

I realise also that some people prefer to have their websites fully managed by someone else. This could simply be because you are too busy, or feel better knowing that an expert is looking after all aspects of your website.
Therefore I offer a managed option in addition to building your site, which includes your own hosting setup and looked after by me, and taking care of all updates and any technical problems. Also, regular backups.

Do you have a wordpress site already and want to learn how to edit and update it yourself? I offer one to one training online via zoom to help you. Whether you’ve had me build the website or someone else, my training will help you take control of your website and not have to rely on paying someone else.
WordPress and Elementor may at first seem a little daunting, but they are really easy to use once you know how. You don’t need any technical knowledge, just a little training to help you navigate their features.
We can even build your website together so you will learn on the job.
